Delhi Capitals Women vs UP Warriorz Women, 7th Match

Namaste India! The Women's Premier League 2026 is heating up, and we are heading to the batting paradise of Navi Mumbai. Tonight, Delhi Women take on UP Women at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy. Both teams have been scoring huge runs but struggling to close out games, which means one thing for fantasy managers: points galore! Let's dive into the data and build a winning strategy for the Mega Leagues.

Pitch Report: A Batter's Dream

The Dr DY Patil Sports Academy is currently a highway for batters. The average first innings score in the last 5 matches is a massive 175 runs. In the most recent game here, we saw over 400 runs scored in a single day!

However, there is a crucial stat for your bowling combination. Pacers have taken 39 wickets compared to just 21 by spinners in the last 5 games. The ball comes onto the bat nicely, but seamers who hit the deck hard are getting rewarded. Load up on top order batters and quality pacers.

Team Form Guide

DEL-W: The Delhi side is coming off a heart breaking loss where they scored 205 but failed to defend it against GG Women. Their batting is firing on all cylinders, but their bowling needs to tighten up.

UP-W: Similarly, UP Women posted 197 in their last outing but still lost. Both teams are desperate for a win, and with such explosive batting lineups, we expect boundaries to rain down tonight.

Key Players to Watch

Nandani Sharma This is the hot pick of the match. Nandani ripped through the opposition in the last game, taking a stunning 5-wicket haul. With 7 wickets in the series and a massive 137.5 average fantasy points, she is currently the most lethal pacer on this surface.

Chinelle Henry Henry is the definition of a complete fantasy package. She has scored 63 runs and taken 3 wickets in the series so far. Her ability to contribute in both innings makes her a stable pick for your teams. She is averaging 117.5 points, making her a prime candidate for the Mega Leagues.

Lizelle Lee Opening the batting, Lee has been in destructive form, smashing 96 runs in the series already. She scored a brilliant 86 in the last match at this very venue. On a batting friendly deck, leaving her out is a huge risk.

Phoebe Litchfield For UP Women, Litchfield has been the standout performer with the bat, accumulating 98 runs in the series. She is averaging 109 fantasy points and looks very comfortable against both pace and spin.

Deandra Dottin Dottin brings that X factor. She has 52 runs and a wicket to her name. Her aggressive style suits the DY Patil pitch perfectly, and she often bowls the crucial overs.

Captain & Vice Captain Picks

Safe Options:

• Chinelle Henry: High floor due to all round duties.
• Lizelle Lee: In peak hitting form on a flat track.

Risky (High Reward) Options:

• Nandani Sharma: If she repeats her bowling heroics, she can single handedly win you the contest.
• Phoebe Litchfield: A great differential captaincy choice if UP bats first.

Good luck with your teams, and let's enjoy this run fest!
